Uncasville – Sue Ellen Webster, 72, of Richard Brown Drive passed away Monday morning, November 20, 2017 at Orchard Grove Specialty Care Center, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born February 4, 1945 in Norwich, CT daughter to the late Wesley W. and Margaret H. (Salisbury) Webster.  
Sue receiving her GED in 1984.  She furthered her education at The Huntington Institute focusing in the business field.  Sue worked for many years as an office clerk in the manufacturing industry.  She enjoyed crafts, especially woodworking, sewing and knitting.
She is survived by her children George A. Pendleton, Jr. and his wife Leslie of Lebanon, Sue A. Luth and her husband Joe of Plainfield, Ellen P. Sobanski and her husband Joseph of Lisbon, and Madalene A. Pendleton-Weaver and her husband Devin of Montville, her two brothers David and Roger Webster, two sisters Shirley Pattavina and Barbara James-Holmes, twelve grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
Sue was predeceased by her daughter Grace M. Pendleton, brothers Richard and Arthur Webster, and sisters, Thelma Gatten and Nancy Cholewa.  
Calling hours will be held from 5:00-7:00PM on Thursday November 30, 2017 at the Gagne Piechowski Funeral Home 490 Voluntown Road Jewett City, CT.  Burial will be private Friday December 1, 2017 at Preston City Cemetery, Preston.  In lieu of flowers memorial donations in Sue’s memory may be made to Orchard Grove Specialty Care Recreation Department, 5 Richard Brown Dr., Uncasville, CT 06382.  For online condolences please go to www.gagnepiechowski.com

Sue was a spitfire of a woman, I've never known a woman with more spunk than her. She will be missed. My heartfelt condolences to all of her family.
