Jane Marie Morgan, 67, of Norwich died peacefully Tuesday August 17, 2021 at W.W. Backus Hospital with her much-loved daughter and friends at her side.

She was born in Seattle, Washington to James Earle and Joanne (Schweikert) Morgan.

Jane was a Registered Nurse at Backus Hospital for over 30 years. She loved to travel and read, and loved spending time with her daughter. She also loved to spoil her to-be grandchild and always had a kind word to say about everyone she met. Jane was grateful for her friends that helped take care of her and took her on adventures. She will be missed dearly by everyone who knew her.

Jane is survived by her daughter Jennifer (Weisenburger) Domey, son-in-law Michael Domey, and three brothers Tim, John, and Spencer Morgan.

A calling hour will be Friday August 27, 2021 from 5 to 6 PM at the Gagne-Piechowski Funeral Home 490 Voluntown Rd, Jewett City, CT with a service to follow at 6 PM at the funeral home. Burial will be private.

I wished to express my heartfelt sympathies to Jennifer and Michael and say that words cannot express the goodness that your mother brought into this world. God Bless.

Jennifer, I was so sorry to hear of your Mom’s passing. Jane and I worked together for many years in ICU. She was so proud of you and your many accomplishments. I heard stories and saw pictures of you from early childhood to your high school & college years. The last time I saw her she shared that you were becoming a chiropractor and you were with Michael, the love of your life. She beamed when she talked about you and loved you so much. She was always a thoughtful and caring person. My thoughts & prayers are with you and your family.
