William Glen Santrock

William “Bill” Glen Santrock, 81, of Voluntown passed away on December 1, 2021 at W.W. Backus Hospital, Norwich. 

Born on August 3, 1940 in Arthur, Illinois, he was the son of  the late Glen and Marjorie Flory Santrock. He graduated from Ypsilanti High School in Michigan, after high school he enlisted in the US Marine Corp. and was stationed at Camp Lejeune.  He retired from the Federal Paper Board were he work for 34 years

He is survived by is wife Ruth Ceaser Santrock; his sons James Santrock, his wife Suzanne and their son Kyle all of Norwalk and Thomas Santrock of Voluntown, and his daughter Danielle Reen Larkin and her husband Matt, grandchildren Heather Santrock and William Collo,  great grandson Dakota Santrock; his brothers Gary Santrock and his wife Mary of Boca Raton and John Santrock and his wife Nancy of Michigan and many great grandchildren.

He is predeceased by his brother Kenneth Santrock and his daughter Mary Elizabeth Santrock Meyer.

A graveside service will be held 1:00PM Monday, December 13, 2021 at Maplewood Cemetery, Norwich CT.  There are no calling hours.  The Gagne Piechowski Funeral Home 490 Voluntown Road Jewett City, CT has been entrusted with arrangements.  For online condolences please go to www.gagnefuneralhome.com
