Thomas E. Curtis, Jr.

Griswold – Thomas E. Curtis, Jr, of Norman Road passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, January 5, 2022.

He was born May 14, 1959 in Manhattan, NY son to the late Thomas E. Curtis, Sr. and Patricia A. (Perratti) Becker.  On October 22, 1983 he was married to Susan (Ladd) Curtis.  She survives him.

Thomas was employed with the Town of Colchester as a night lead custodian, before that he worked for Norwich Public Works. He loved the Dallas Cowboys, riding his Harley, dancing, bowling and having a good time.

Besides his wife Susan he is survived by his children Thomas Ladd (Shannon), Thomas E. Curtis, III and Amanda Palmer (Thomas), his brothers Kevin Curtis, Steven Becker and Bob Huggler (Becky), a sister Dawn Avery (Doug) and his six grandchildren Kierstin, Allyson, Jessica, Dakota, Thomas John and Kelsey and great grandson Greyson Thomas.  As well as numerous brother/sister in laws, nieces, nephews and friends who ALL loved him.

Calling hours will be held Saturday, January 15, 2022 from 12:00PM-2:00PM at the Gagne Piechowski Funeral Home 490 Voluntown Road Jewett City, CT.  Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.  For online condolences please go to www.gagnepiechowski.com
