Theresa M. (Masten) Remillard

Theresa M. Remillard, 68, of Canterbury passed away peacefully at W.W. Backus Hospital on October 22, 2024.

She was born October 10, 1956, in Key West, FL to the late Raymond and Esther (June) Masten.

Theresa worked most of her life as a Certified Nurse Aid and proudly served as union steward for 1199 Union.  She loved her 4 grandchildren more than anything.  She was an avid sports fan of her New England Patriots and the Boston Red Sox.  Theresa was a huge fan of Nascar racing.

She is preceded in death by her parents and 3 sisters Patricia and husband Stephen, Lynn Brawders and Kim Seymour.

Theresa is survived by her son Christopher Masten of Enfield and her daughter Jennifer Gifford of Barbourville, KY, her 4 grandchildren who were her world, Kaitlyn Gifford, Madison Gifford, Mackenzie Gifford and Aaron Masten. Theresa has a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, November 7, 2024 from 6:00-8:00PM at the Gagne Piechowski Funeral Home, Jewett City CT.
