Griswold - Susan Pendergast, 73, passed away Sunday, September 17, 2023 at her home in Griswold. She was born July 11, 1950 in Middletown, CT, to the late Clifford and Eva (Russell) Lavallee. She enjoyed long walks with her dogs, gardening, and spending time with her grandchildren and great nephew. She is survived by son Jason Pester and his wife Lorry of Mapleville, RI, grandchildren Kadyn and Kaena Pester of Mapleville, RI, sister Patricia Rand and her husband James of Brooklyn, CT, nephew James Rand and his wife Sarah of Brooklyn, CT, great nephew Cooper Rand, and former husband James Pendergast. She was predeceased by her son Scott Pester and brother Frank Lavallee. Services will be private.
