Shirley C. (Drown) Whitney

Lisbon – Shirley Jean Drown Comstock Whitney. Born March 12, 1937 in St Johnsbury VT to Beverly ( Comstock) and Earnest Drown.
She graduated from Lancaster HS Lancaster NH
Married Ervin W Whitney April 24, 1954
Was a devoted military wife and mother to Peggy ( John) Pellett and David M (Cheryl) Whitney
She was grandmother to Lauren Pellett, Amber Whitney and Jason (Jenny) Pellett
Shirley also had three great grandchildren, Jaimye, Mia and Noah Pellett, who she adored
Shirley also has three half sisters: Martha Drown- Johnson, Mary Drown- Fernandez, and Deborah Drown- Ward and a half brother Earnest Drown Jr.
Shirley was pre deceased by both of her parents,and step mother, her daughter Beverly, and son in law John.Also her cousin Donald Drown who was like a brother when she was growing up.
Our Mom was an avid knitter and crocheter. Nothing made her happier then to be able to make something for her family and friends. We all have many hand made socks and sweaters that she made with lots of love.
A burial will be at a later day when the family can all get together in NH
In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Shirley's memory to your choice of the American Cancer Society, American Heart Association or the Lisbon Volunteer Fire Department.
