Samuel Isaac Hopkins

Samuel Isaac Hopkins, 18, of Amos Road in Preston, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, June 6, 2026, after a long struggle with various medical challenges. Samuel met every season of his journey with determination and a spirit that left a deep mark on everyone who loved him. 

He will be remembered for his love of others, his great smile, and a laugh that still rings in our memories. 

Born December 12, 2007, in New London, CT, he was the beloved son of Will and Stacia (Richmond) Hopkins of Preston.  He is also survived by his brother Benjamin Hopkins and his sister Lydia Hopkins, who loved him deeply.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, June 15, 2026, at Pachaug Cemetery in Griswold, CT.  A memorial service will follow later in the week at 10:00 AM on Saturday, June 20, 2026, at Anchor Baptist Church, 52 Fanning Road, Ledyard, CT.
