Sally May (McNally) Harrelle


Griswold - Sally Harrelle passed away peacefully at home on Monday April 14, 2025 surrounded by her family after a long courageous battle with illness.

Sally was a beloved wife, mother and most of all devoted grandmother. Her four grandsons Jacob, Brayden, Gavin and Ryan were the light of her life. She was married to her high school sweetheart and love of her life Richard Harrelle for 48 wonderful years.

She is survived by her husband Richard Harrelle of Griswold CT, as well as her children Amy (Harrelle) Weidner and husband Matthew of Lisbon CT and Angela (Harrelle) Langlais and husband Matthew of Sprague, CT. Sister Kathryn McNally of Voluntown CT. She was predeceased by her brother James McNally Jr., mother Edith (Olson) McNally and father James McNally.

A graveside service will be held Saturday April 19th at 11am at the Pachaug Cemetery in Griswold, CT for friends and family followed by a gathering at the Jacques Cartier French Club in Jewett City CT.
