Niantic – Rosemary Violette, formerly of Voluntown and Jewett City, born August 10, 1927 to Peter and Nora (McDonald) Violette, died peacefully December 9, 2017.
Rosemary is survived by her sister, Margaret Bedat, niece, Nancy Bedat Tessier, brother Richard and brother-in-law Milton Herbert. Also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews, special cousin George Violette and life-long friend Mariam Evans.
In addition to her parents, Rosemary was preceded in death by sisters Teresa Herbert and Rita Eichelberg, and brothers Lawrence, John and Neil Violette.
Rosemary’s family is grateful to the entire staff of Bride Brook Health and Rehab, especially the 3rd floor staff, for the care and kindness shown to her in the last years of her life.
A mass will be held at St. Thomas Church, Voluntown, Friday morning, December 15, at 11:00. Burial will follow at St. Thomas Cemetery, Sheldon Road, Griswold.
