Roseleen Mary (Nugent) Caselli

Roseleen M. Caselli, 74, of Griswold passed away surrounded by her 4 children on Saturday evening. She was born on February 16, 1947 in East Orange, NJ daughter to the late Michael and Rose (Keaney) Nugent. On November 14, 1970 in Edison, NJ she married the love of her life, Philip F. Caselli with whom she was married for 39 years until his passing in 2009. Roseleen is predeceased by her 3 siblings, Michael Nugent, Sr. Catherine Nugent, and Frank Nugent. Throughout her life, Roseleen held many administrative assistant positions, but family was always her number one priority. She was a loyal and loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother (grandma or gram-grams), and friend. Roseleen possessed a passion for music, family gatherings, her grandchildren, and all of the wonderful “little things” in life. Roseleen is survived by her 4 children, Kevin Caselli and his wife Anne of West Simsbury, Kristen Evans of Nashua, NH, Brian Caselli and his wife Kelly of Bethany, Thomas Caselli and his wife Kate of East Hampton, 9 grandchildren, Andrew and Ryan Caselli, Sophie and Lyla Evans, Tyler, Aiden, and Aubrey Caselli, Ivy and Bryce Caselli, and her sister-in-law Catherine Nugent. Due to safety concerns, a private mass and interment service will be held for Roseleen. A celebration of her life will take place at a future date.
