Richard P. McNally, 47, of Jewett City CT beloved son to Sally McNally (Ladd) and the late Kenneth F. McNally, entered into eternal rest Tuesday January 16th 2024 at his home with family. His heart of this world may have failed but his spirit was stubbornly strong.
Rich was born on July 11, 1976 in Putnam CT. After Rich graduated from Killingly High School in 1994, he went on to work at Cargill Chevrolet in Putnam, and Fox 61 WTIC in advertising/sales, anyone who knew Rich would tell you he could sell wood to a forest! He was an avid sports fan playing Little League in Dayville and KBF football as a child, later becoming a die-hard Patriot and Boston Red Sox fan.
Rich would be displeased if we went any further without mentioning his beloved dog Emma "babygirl" because honestly, he might have loved her more than he did us.
Rich is survived by his fiance, Nicole Nordstrom, and her two sons Brandon and Jessie of Jewett City; his Brother Jason McNally of Danielson, adored uncle Jim Ladd.
Rich had a smile that lit up every room, and could talk endlessly about anything! He was never one for religiosity but he would have wanted you to know that if he owed you a beer, or anything at all, and if you can find him in Heaven, he will gladly buy you another or lend you his ear.
His life was a blessing, his memory a treasure, he is loved beyond words and will be missed beyond measure!
