Butch came to know Jesus in the 1970’s through his best friend, Heiner Liebig, and continued serving the Lord for the entirety of his life. Butch and his wife, Viola, enjoyed many years with their family at both Witch Meadow Campground and Ross Hill Campground. After leaving their family home in Montville, Butch and Viola spent the last 25 years living in Griswold with their daughter and son-in-law Elizabeth and Nic Viens.
