Richard George Lavigne, of Brooklyn, CT, passed away on May 20, 2023, surrounded by his family.
He was born on November 24, 1939, in Norwich, to George A. Lavigne and Lolita J. (Perry) Rosen.
Richard is survived by his wife, Susan (Paré) Lavigne, sons Gary & Lawrence Lavigne, daughters Cynthia Maheu, Julia Aldridge (William) & Katherine Pease (Tucker), brother Ronald Lavigne and sister Patricia Carson. He has seven grandchildren, Renee Rogers, Jaime Ley, Brian Lavigne, Sara Muldoon, Kevin Muldoon, Robert Pease & Madeline Pease; and two great-grandchildren, Juliana Ley & Nixon Rogers.
Besides his parents he was predeceased by his son Richard Lavigne, Jr.
Services will be private at the request of Richard & his family, and ask that in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Hole in the Wall Gang Camp, in Ashford, CT.
Gagne-Piechowski Funeral Home, 490 Voluntown Road, has been entrusted with the arrangements.
