Richard Driscoll Obituary
Jewett City – Richard H. Driscoll of Jewett City passed away Tuesday, May 4, 2021 at his home, he was 92.
Born on February 2, 1929 in New London, CT, Richard was the son of the late Francis and Yvonne (Horrigan) Driscoll. Richard was predeceased by two brothers, Francis and Paul.
Richard proudly served his country in the US Army during the Korean War, after an honorable discharge he worked as a Cost Accountant for Thermos Corporation for over 40 years.
Richard is survived by his four nephews and their wives, Michael and Cathy Driscoll of Westbrook, CT, Robert and Susan Driscoll of Waterford, CT, William and Jean Driscoll of Windham, NH and James and Diane Driscoll of Uncasville, CT along with nine grand-nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:00AM Monday, May 10, 2021 at St. Mary’s Church, Jewett City, CT. Burial with military honors will immediately follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Lisbon, CT. For online condolences please go to www.gagnepiechowski.com
