Rena Doris Morey

Jewett City – Rena Doris Morey, 86, of East Main Street passed away peacefully Saturday, August 21, 2021, after a lengthy battle with cancer.
She was born March 1, 1935 in Jewett City, CT daughter to the late James A. and Lea (Bachand) Morey.  Rena worked for many years as an Accounts Payable Clerk for Amgraph Corp.  Rena enjoyed traveling the world and the country.  She also loved reading and going on road trips.
She is survived by her sister Annette (Morey) Perrone and brother-in-law Dominic of Groton, CT, her daughter Nancy (Maynard) Espejo and son-in-law Martin of Jewett City, CT, daughter-in-law Becky Maynard of Lisbon, CT and her beloved nieces and nephew.  
Rena was predeceased by her son Michael Maynard of Lisbon and her sister Lorraine (Morey) Chapman of Jewett City.  
A calling hour will be held from 9:00-10:00AM on Saturday, September 4, 2021 with a memorial service immediately following at 10:00AM at the Gagne Piechowski Funeral Home 490 Voluntown Road Jewett City, CT.  Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Lisbon.  For online condolences please go to www.gagnepiechowski.com
