Nicholas Michael Ouimet-Cornell, 37, born March 26, 1985 in New London, Connecticut. Nicholas also lived in Mystic Connecticut and Colorado Springs, Colorado. Nicholas died suddenly at his home in Colorado Springs after a long period of time battling mental health issues.
Nicholas loved deeply and left behind many loved ones including his father and step-mother Scott M. Cornell, Sr. and Norma Cornell of Mystic, CT.
Also, his children and ex-wife Jayce Cornell, Jeremya Cornell, Julyan McCoy and Robin McCoy of Colorado Springs, Colorado. His mother and two brothers Dawn Svoma Ouimet of North Stonington, Scott Mitchell Ouimet-Cornell of Germany and William Ouimet Dixon of Somerville, MA. His Uncle Kurtis Cornell and Aunt Renate Cornell of Ohio. Uncle George F. Ouimet and Pattee A. Ouimet and cousins Julia, Rita, George Jr., and Audrey of Millbrook, NY. Aunt Beth R. Ouimet-Cochran and Uncle Richard Cochran and cousins Amanda, Christopher, Sarah, Wyatt and Burke of Loves Park, Illinois. Also many close and loving friends from childhood and as an adult, including his best friend Mike Bonnano of Chicago, Keirstin and Reed from Colorado Springs, CO, and Ryan Ferguson of Pawcatuck, Connecticut. Nicholas we miss you deerly.
A Memorial Service will be held 10:00AM Saturday, April 30, 2022 at the Gagne Piechowski Funeral Home 490 Voluntown Road Jewett City, CT. Burial will immediately follow in Robbins Cemetery, Voluntown, CT. There are no calling hours.
