Mary Frances (Kenyon) Violette

Mary Francis Violette (Kenyon) “Mary Fran”, 64, from Wyoming RI, residing in Griswold CT for 30 years, passed away unexpectedly on September 24th of 2025.

Mary was born May 15, 1961, in Providence RI, the daughter of Jackie Keenan Kenyon and Henry E. Skip Kenyon.

She graduated from Chariho High school in 1979, where she was a first team all-state pitcher, and graduated from Westbrook College in Maine in 1981

Mary married Neil Violette Jr. in October of 1995, and later had two children Brett (May 1997) and Tyler Violette (May 1998)      

She was a beloved bartender at Paddy’s Beach Pub; she was a dedicated mother to her children and later turned to home health care for others where she made many new acquaintances and some lifelong friends

Remaining to cherish Mary’s memory are her husband Neil, two children Brett and Tyler, her bother Kevin, sisters Theresa, Moe and Christine, the many friends she made along the way and finally her two pets Socks and Marcie

Preceding Mary in death were both her parents Jackie and Skip Kenyon, as well as her brother Timothy Patrick Kenyon, and sister Colleen Heely

Calling hours will be Tuesday September 30, 2025 from 5 to 7 PM at the Gagne-Piechowski Funeral Home 490 Voluntown Rd., Jewett City, CT.
