Mary Ellen (Vincent) Hunton

Brooklyn- MaryEllen Hunton, 100, of Pierce Memorial Baptist Home, in Brooklyn, passed away on February 13, 2022. 

MaryEllen was born on December 24, 1921, to Mary L. (Castomguay) and Israel Vincent.       

She was the Secretary & Bookkeeper for the family business, Porcumac Mold & Tool Company in Plainfield and later at the Plainfield Dog Track before retiring.

She is survived by her three children, Paul H. Hunton, of Florida, Brian Lee Hunton (Dawn) of Danielson, and Mark Vincent Hunton of Brooklyn, seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren. 

There will be a graveside service 10:00AM Thursday, February 17, 2022 at the Pachaug Cemetery, Griswold, CT.  There are no calling hours.  The Gagne Piechowski Funeral Home 490 Voluntown Road Jewett City, CT has been entrusted with the arrangements.  For online condolences please go to www.gagnefuneralhome.com
