Marc Carter Bryant, 53, passed away peacefully the morning of his birthday after a fight with throat cancer.
He was born November 24, 1968 in Hudson, NY, in 1972 the family moved to Canterbury. While he attended Dr. Helen Baldwin School and NFA; school wasn’t his thing, he’d rather be on wheels, dirt bike, quad or mountain bike. Marc loved to listen to music, he liked non-mainstream country, blues and rock mostly, but would listen to it all. He enjoyed building model cars, hanging out with friends, watching NASCAR and his beloved New England Patriots. He was a self-proclaimed redneck who adored his cat, Critter Marie.
Marc, being very spiritual, was baptized as an adult at the Packerville Baptist Church where he continued to worship.
He worked at a few places over his lifetime, Palmer’s Mum Gardens, Courtesy Dodge, JY Sailboats and Summitwoods. Whatever the job, he was growing, building or fixing something!
Marc was a devoted son to the late Donald and Edith Bryant of Canterbury. He helped care for both his parents during their illnesses.
He leaves his sister, Karen Bryant (Kevin Burrell) of Waterford; his aunt, Pamela Glasser (Jerry Senecal) of Hudson, NY and his amazing friend and caregiver, Diane (D) Thompson of Killingly. He will also be missed by his close lifelong friends, Tim, Chet, Tom and Chris.
There will be a service honoring Marc at Packerville Baptist Church, 228 Packerville Rd, Plainfield, CT 06374 on Saturday, December 4, 2021 at 11:00AM.
