Norwich – Luke William Ballestrini, 41, of Sandy Lane passed away suddenly at his home Monday, September 28, 2020.
He was born on August 3, 1979 in New London, CT son to Denise Gaile (Plourde) Faraci of Preston and Bill Ballestrini of Preston.
Luke was a carpenter for over 23 years. He was very compassionate about his music and the New Orleans Saints. He loved and adored his son Mason Richard, family was the world to him. When Luke walked into a room he would light it up with his energy. Luke was a kind soul who would give his last dollar to help someone.
Besides his parents and son he is survived by step father Robert J. Faraci of Preston, adopted father Peter K. Holden of Pawcatuck, stepmother Judy Ballestrini of Preston, two siblings Joshua Richard Ballestrini and his wife Kim and their two children Kylie and Nathan Ballestrini, Marianne Slonski and her husband Shawn and their two children Noah and Naomi Slonski of Griswold, his fiancé Melissa Quercia of Norwich, his maternal grandmother Maryann Plourde of Boca Raton, FL, grandmother Clara of Oakdale, two step brothers Robert A. Faraci of East Lyme, Steven T. Faraci of East Lyme, two half-brothers Jake Ballestrini of Ledyard and Jared Ballestrini of Preston. He also leaves behind many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his grandparents Richard E. Plourde, William and Dorothy Ballestrini, Sr. and Robert T. Faraci.
Due to the increase in Cornavirus cases in the local area the services have been canceled.
