Lloyd Henry Thompson

Lloyd (Fletch) H. Thompson Jr., 85, passed away at his home on Thursday, September 15, 2022.

He was born February 21, 1937 in Norwich, CT, son to the late Lloyd H. and Jirene (Randall) Thompson, Sr. 

Lloyd proudly served in the U.S. Marine Corp and was a Markmanship Instructor.  He was an Oil Burner Technician with Hendels Petroleum Company until he retired.  He was a life member of the Griswold Volunteer Fire Dept.

He is survived by his fiancée Linda Freemer of Montville, his daughters Cindy (Perry) Haen of Sheboygan, WI and April (Jeffrey) Poitras of Griswold, CT, several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

He was predeceased by his son Joseph James Sr., his daughter Melody Holowaty, granddaughters Haley Haen and Dawn Holden.
