Leslie Ann (Trahan) O’ Grady (75) was Born in Norwich, CT December 7, 1947, and died of kidney failure on July 22, 2023, in Norwich, CT. She grew up in Jewett City, CT.
On October 27, 1973, Leslie married Michael O’ Grady, her one true love and devoted husband for 50 years.
Leslie’s immediate family members predeceased her. She is the daughter of Conrad D. Trahan (d. 12-8-2002) and Julia Tarka Trahan (d. 12-22-1996) and the sister of Edward C. Trahan (d. 1-20-2014).
Leslie graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Central Connecticut State University. After her graduation, she worked as a public-relations writer for a television station and a hospital in Connecticut before becoming a professional historical fiction writer.
Leslie O’ Grady is a published author of sixteen novels: The Oath (as Lindsay Chase), Honor (as Lindsay Chase), The Vow (as Lindsay Chase), The Artist’s Daughter, Lady Jade, Love Heals All, Healing Hearts, Sapphire and Silk, So Wild a Dream, Lord Raven’s Widow, The Second Sister, Wildwinds, The Grateful Undead, Seek the Wild Shore, Healing Gifts, and Passion’s Fortune.
Leslie Ann O’ Grady is survived by her husband Michael O’ Grady, her Uncle Thadeus Tarka (96) of Virginia, and several loving cousins in the Tarka, Neumann, and Racine families who had previous roots in Jewett City and Canterbury, CT.
