Leonard Arthur Denomme, 75, of Tunnel Hill Court passed away at his home Friday, October 10, 2025.
He was born October 24, 1949 in Norwich, CT to the late Lawrence J. and Marie Ann (Carignan) Denomme.
Leonard worked at Natchaug Hospital until his retirement in 2013. After that he worked part time for WCTY/WICH radio. He was a little league coach for boy’s baseball and Senior League girl’s softball. He volunteered for many local programs such as Big Brothers/Big Sisters and most recent the Rose City Senior Center serving meals.
He is survived by his sisters Gloria Wheeler, Sharron Denomme, Doreen Langevin and her husband Arthur and his brother Alan Denomme and his wife Kathleen.
Besides his parents he was predeceased by his siblings Lawrence Denomme, Roland Denomme, Dennis Denomme and Jeanette Bitgood.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Leonard's memory to Jewett City Little League, American Cancer Society and St. Mary's Church.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:00AM Saturday October 25, 2025 at St. Mary’s Church, Jewett City, CT. Burial will immediately follow in Pachaug Cemetery, Griswold, CT. For online condolences please go to www.gagnefuneralhome.com
