Judy May LaVoy 1949-2021 Griswold - Judy May LaVoy , 72
passed away peaceful in the early morning hours of September
6, 2021, after a long illness. Judy was born in Council Bluffs
Iowa on July 20, 1949. Judy was an avid knitter and book worm,
who loved to knit for the family and spend hours reading. She
is survived by her husband of 54 years David A. LaVoy with
whom she loved to see the world with. Her son, John. E. LaVoy,
his wife Maura S. LaVoy, and their two sons Harold (Toby) and
James T. LaVoy of Spotsylvania Virginia. She is also survived by
her daughter Cheryl A. Niemi, her husband Erik M. Niemi of
Brooklyn CT, and Erik’s children, Devon P Niemi of Mapleville RI
and Ryan M. Niemi of Putnam CT. Judy is, was, and always will
be a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who wil
