Joyce (Skinner) Gibeault

Griswold – Joyce Gibeault, 68, of Mohegan Drive passed away, February 25, 2023 at the William W. Backus Hospital, Norwich. 

She was born April 13, 1954 in New London, CT, daughter to the late William  Skinner and Mary (Scacciaferro) Skinner of Connecticut.  On July 1, 1972 she was married to Louis (Skip) Gibeault.  He survives her.

Joyce was employed for many years as the branch manager with People’s Bank. 

Besides her husband Louis and her mother, Joyce is survived by her children Matthew (Emily Winters) and Melissa Gibeault, her brother George Skinner (Madeline), sister Linda Bublick, granddaughter Lily and by Skips siblings William(Linda) of New York, Lawrence(Michelle) of Virginia, Richard(Kathy) of Virginia, Patricia Zils(James) of Connecticut, Thomas(Sharon) of Connecticut, Margaret Voland(Kurt) of Connecticut, Kathleen Grenier(Jody) of Connecticut, Ronald(Kathie) Connecticut and Steven(Lisle) of California. 

Calling hours will be held Friday, March 3, 2023 from 4:30PM-6:00PM at the Gagne Piechowski Funeral Home 490 Voluntown Road Jewett City, CT with a Prayer Service to immediately follow at 6:00PM.  Burial will be at the convenience of the family.  For online condolences please go to www.gagnepiechowski.com
