John Stephen Sekula

Griswold – John Stephen Sekula, 81, passed away suddenly at his home Sunday, January 30, 2022.

                Born in Norwich, CT son to John J. Sekula and Stephanie (Prezkop) Sekula.  Loving and devoted husband for 62 years to Pauline A. (LaSalle) Sekula. Father of Pauline Andruskiewicz (Paul), Valerie Sekula, John S. Sekula, II (deceased) and Dianna O’Brien.

                A United States Navy Veteran, who loved his animals, nature and plants.  He enjoyed hunting and fishing, was a very talented salesman and creative craftsman who always had a new project underway. 

                In addition to his immediate family, he also leaves behind 1 brother, 3 sisters, 17 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. 

                In lieu of flowers donations can be made in John’s memory to the Wounded Warriors Project.
