Voluntown – Jessie Rose (Bosley) Wolff, passed away on December 18, 2021, after a brief illness. Born in Ellwood City, Pennsylvania on August 14, 1948, she settled in Connecticut in her youth and resided primarily in the Groton/ Mystic area for most of her life, briefly living in Norwich and eventually settling in Voluntown for the balance of her life. She sought the quiet, peaceful in things in life such as reading her books and enjoying the quiet and solitude of the forest. Jessie will always be remembered for her infectious laugh, her sense of humor, and her love of owls.
She was predeceased by her sister Bonnie Harris, and her husband Alfred W. Wolff, Jr. She is survived by her two children Jennifer L. Topham and Dianna M. Trudelle along with numerous grandchildren.
Funeral services were provided by Gagne – Piechowski Funeral Home of Jewett City. Interment is planned for later in the Spring of 2022 and will include the interment of Alfred W. Wolff, Sr., June H. Wolff, Alfred W. Wolff, Jr., and Jessie R. Wolff. The interment and graveside service will be open to family and friends who wish to attend but overall will be private. Announcement of the graveside interment will be published once formal arrangements have been made at Robbins Cemetery in Voluntown.
