Jared DiClemente Obituary

It is with great sadness that the family of Jared Nathaniel DiClemente, 34, of Norwich, Connecticut, announces his unexpected passing on October 15, 2024, in Phoenix, Arizona. Born on May 22, 1990, in New London, Connecticut, Jared was the beloved son of Andrew DiClemente of Uncasville and Katherine (Kasem-Beg) DiClemente of Norwich.

Jared was a devoted father who leaves behind three beloved children: Jadiel (15), Malina (7), and Maison (2). He is also survived by his four siblings, Ashley Trickett (Justin), Megan Jones, Nathaniel DiClemente, and Andrew DiClemente, along with numerous nieces and nephews who adored him. He had a strong bond with his parents and his siblings. Jared was predeceased by his brother, Brad Meyers.

His devotion to his children was unwavering and he looked forward to watching them grow up and longed for the day when they would create families of their own. Jared cherished every moment spent with them and dreamed of a future where he could walk his little girl down the aisle. His kids meant the world to him, and he took great pride in being a hero to his son, Jadiel, who looked up to him with admiration. Jared created countless memories at destinations such as Disney World and various amusement parks, where he delighted in sharing experiences with his children.

He was incredibly close to his family, and his steadfast devotion to them was a cornerstone of his life. He had dreams of settling down and starting a new chapter with the love of his life, planning to propose in December.

As a professional truck driver for UA West, in Warren, Michigan, Jared had a zest for life which he lived to the fullest as he traveled extensively throughout the United States; especially to his favorite destination, Puerto Rico, where he enjoyed the beach, the nightlife, and the warmth of the island, while exploring the culture.

Jared also had a strong faith in God that he shared with everyone he met. When he first began driving as a truck driver, he confessed Jesus as his Lord and Savior and prayed for forgiveness and protection. He longed to travel to Israel and experience what it was like to go to the Wailing Wall and walk where Jesus walked.

Jared had a unique ability for lifting the spirits of everyone around, bringing joy with his gregarious personality and high-pitched giggles which drew friends to him throughout his life. He was known for his infectious smile and contagious laughter. He was funny, outgoing, and extroverted, with the ability to light up any room he entered, always making people laugh. As a man of humor, Jared brought joy to others with his quick wit. His often sly and charming demeanor made him a cherished friend which endeared him to all who had the pleasure of knowing him. He embraced every opportunity to explore new places and create lasting memories with friends and family. He valued moments spent with his closest friends Ivan, Brian, and Raul, who loved him unconditionally.

Jared's life will be celebrated during calling hours from 4 to 6 PM on Saturday, October 26th, at the Gagne Piechowski Funeral Home in Jewett City, Connecticut. He will be laid to rest at Comstock Cemetery in Uncasville on Wednesday, October 30th, at 11 AM.
Jared’s absence leaves a profound void in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. He will be remembered not only for his kindness and infectious laughter but also for the deep love he had for his family and friends. He leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and precious memories. His family finds comfort in the love he shared and the knowledge that his faith in God would endure.

"For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor rulers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord". Romans 8:38-39
