Janice Carol (Jolin) Cassidy

Janice Carol Cassidy, 83, of Norwich, CT, passed away on July 22, 2023, in Griswold, CT. She was born on March 21, 1940, to Alfred and Genevieve (Gaudette) Jolin. 

Janice was preceded in death by her parents and her beloved husband, Archie V. Cassidy. Janice is survived by her loving children: Karen Stott (Steve), Archie Cassidy (Mary), Rochelle, and Bryan Cassidy (Janet). She was a cherished grandmother to Jeffery Cassidy, Jared Kolada, Jennifer Vanlew, Damien Cassidy, Riley Robinson, Brittany Cassidy, Amber Cassidy, Hailey Robinson, Dillon Cassidy, Braydon Cassidy and nine great-grandchildren. Additionally, she is survived by her only sister Audrey (Jolin) Grenier and many nieces and nephews.

 Janice had a passion for traveling, cleaning, and shopping. She enjoyed spending afternoons with her friends, creating cherished memories.

 A Mass of Christian burial will be held at St. Thomas Church in Voluntown, CT, on Thursday, July 27th, 2023, at 10:00 AM, followed by internment at Pachaug Cemetery. 

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to support the Voluntown Seniors. Contributions can be made by sending a check payable to "The Town Of Voluntown" with the memo "Elderly Commission" to Voluntown Town Hall, P.O. Box 96, Voluntown, CT.
