Harold (Skip) W. Gardner, son of Arthur and Manetta (Jewett) Gardner. He was born in Augusta, Maine on July 12, 1945. Deceased on October 5, 2023. He leaves his wife of 56 years, Doris (Southwick), married on September 2, 1967. He leaves two sons and their wives, Tony and Janet Gardner, Jeff and Autumn Gardner and one daughter Ginny Trudeau.
Grandsons Josiah Gardner, Albert Roadway and Ethan Haass, granddaughters Briana Weaver, Miranda Gardner, Jill Gummoe, Elizabeth Trudeau, and Jordyn Fournier, four great-grandchildren Chase and Brody Weaver, Lilly and Cole Gummoe, four sisters Shirley Currier, Elizabeth (Thomas) Hall, Alice (Paul) Harrington, and Rita Sawyer and several nieces and nephews.

There will be a calling hour Tuesday, October 10, 2023 from 9:00-10:00AM at the Gagne Piechowski Funeral Home, Jewett City, CT. A funeral service will follow at 11:00AM at Central Assembly of God, Wauregan, CT. Burial will immediately follow at Pachaug Cemetery, Griswold, CT.
