Geraldine Dupont Obituary

Geraldine Tetreault Dupont passed away on her birthday, January 26, 2026, at the Villa Maria Convalescent home in Plainfield. The family would like to thank Hospice for their respect, care and compassion they showed.

Geraldine was born to Rosalie Tetreault and George Tetrealt, on January 26, 1937. She grew up in Voluntown, Jewett City and Plainfield areas. That’s where she met her soul mate Ernest Dupont Jr. They were married for 57 years and had 6 children. Ernest predeceased her in 2015.

She leaves behind her children, Ernest Dupont III, Kathryn Dupont, Kelly McClellan (Ed) Karen Dupont Porter and Adam Dupont, her sister Arlene (Gilbert) Collins She also leaves behind several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends. She was predeceased by her son Jeffrey Dupont.
