Frank Albert Onorato "Fast Frank"

Griswold – Frank Albert Onorato “Fast Frank”, 87, of Lewis Avenue passed away at his home on Sunday, December 4, 2022. 

He was born May 24, 1935 in New Milford, CT, son to the late Albert and Eleanor (Lyons) Onorato. 

Frank honorably served in the U.S. Navy on the USS Henley.  He worked for many years as an iron worker for Local 15.  One of his many projects was the Gold Star Bridge.  He frequented Maine working and living there for numerous years.   

He is survived by his daughter Christina Roode of Colorado, a granddaughter Elisha Roode of New London, cousins, Joseph M. Cholewa, Jr., godson of Frank,  John M. Cholewa, David A. Cholewa and their extended families.

Besides his parents he was predeceased by his son Jeffrey Onorato.

The family would like to thank the Voluntown Church Ladies for their kindness to Frank.
