Eugene M. McGuire

Eugene M. McGuire passed away on June 24, 2021 at home surrounded by his family. He was born in Indianapolis, IN, the son of the late Ralph and Helen (Arnold) McGuire. Gene was a Korean War veteran, serving in the U.S. Navy on the USS Valley Forge. On December 26, 1953, he married Mary Dolores Lambert in Plainfield, CT. After his military service, he worked for General Dynamics for 30 years, retiring in 1988, as a Nuclear Ship's Superintendent.

He is survived by the love of his life, Dolores McGuire; sons, Michael, Eugene and wife Lorri, Ralph, Charlie, and James; daughter, Joleen; a brother, William, and 6 grandchildren. He was predeceased by siblings, Martin, Clifford, Patricia and Maxine.
