Elva Edna (Haskell) Bray

Griswold— on July 4, 2021, Elva Edna Bray, 85, of 80 Sheldon Rd Lot 2, passed away Sunday afternoon at her home. She was born June 8, 1936 in Norwich, CT, daughter to the late Clarence Haskell and Ann McKelvie.
Elva retired from the State of CT, Uncas On The Thames. After retirement she worked at the Jewett City Bakery, and at the Soup Kitchen in Norwich for Thanksgiving and Christmas.
Elva is survived by her daughter Bonnie-Lee Blake, a sister Patricia Morris, sister-in-law Dorothy Haskell, her godson Eddie Gauthier and many nieces and nephews.
Elva was predeceased by her husband Russell G. Bray, daughter Tammy-Lee Olson, and only grandson Kristopher John Blake, also a sister Charlotte Foley, and brother Arthur Haskell.
Elva enjoyed life to the fullest, and had the heart of an angel.
Calling hour and services will be held at the Preston Congregational Church in Preston, CT,  Monday, July 12th at 1:00 pm.
Burial will be private at the Pachaug Cemetery in Griswold, CT
