Betty was born in Stamford, Connecticut on August 25th,1943 to her late father William Mentillo and late mother Elizabeth (Dudas) Mentillo. Betty was a self-proclaimed “daddy’s girl”.
Betty was a proud veteran of the Vietnam war, serving in the Air Force. Betty had said that she chose the Air Force based solely on their uniforms. Betty was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother (Gigi). Betty’s love for her family showed in everything she did. Betty was happiest when surrounded by her loved ones. She loved to sit on her deck with family and friends and enjoy a cookout. Betty had stated the thing she was most proud of in her life was raising two good kids. Betty’s other pride and joy was her 8 year old cat Boostie, that she spoiled since the Christmas Morning she came into Betty’s life.
Betty was a funny, strong-willed, and loving woman. She will live on forever in the hearts and memories of her loved ones.
