Obituary
Eileen passed away peacefully on May 28, 2023. Eileen was a life-long resident of Jewett City, a devoted employee of Windham Hospital and more famously, Arremony’s Bakery. Eileen was the daughter of Robert Provencher and Teresa (Pizzo) Provencher and sister to Catherine Brycki, who predeceased her. Eileen is survived by Philip Turano, her life partner, Robert “Bob” Provencher and his wife, Judy, Nancy Sullivan and her husband Ken, Catherine’s husband, Paul, along with four nieces, Kimberly Jolly, Allison Provencher, Amanda Brycki, Ashley Provencher, their families, and her kitty, Duke. Eileen was a generous, funny, kind woman who was an amazing role model. She enjoyed watching Hallmark movies, reading books, spending time with her family and her kitties, a fan of Tom Brady, and the Boston Celtics.
A Mass of Christian Burial to honor Eileen’s life will be June 10, 2023, at St. Mary’s Church in Jewett City at 11:00AM. The Gagne Piechowski Funeral Home 490 Voluntown Road Jewett City, CT has been entrusted with the arrangements. For online condolences please go to www.gagnefuneralhome.com
