Edward Jackson Kelley, III

Edward Jackson Kelley III passed away peacefully at home following a battle with Cancer in Lisbon CT on August 4, 2023.  Edward “Jack” was born in Pittsburgh PA on Sept 16, 1942 Son of Edward Jackson Kelley Jr and Marian Mae (Roderick) Kelley.  Jack grew up in Pittsburgh PA where he attended Langley High School then Duquesne University and later got his degree from DeVry Institute of Technology.  Jack was a Navy Veteran serving on the USS Cavalla.  After serving in the Navy Jack retired from Pratt and Whitney with 35 years of service.  He loved coaching and supporting all sports for his children and grandchildren.  He loved his Steelers and his Yankees and his occasional Casino Shuffle.

Jack is survived by his Wife of 56 years Joanne (Troniar) Kelley of Lisbon his daughters Cheryl Davis and Rich from Lisbon, Kelly Kelley and Mark from Uncasville and Paige Zastowsky and John from Plainfield, Sarah Arpin from Orlando FL and his son Gregory Kelley and Sue from Lisbon.  He also leaves his brother James Kelley and Bonnie from Bevard NC and Carol Jordan from Pittsburgh PA. He was predeceased by his brother Raymond Kelley of Pittsburgh PA.  He also leaves behind 5 grandchildren - Richie Davis Jr and  Jordan of Lisbon,  Justin Davis and Courtney of Lisbon, Brandon Brouillette and Brittany of Lisbon,  John Zastowsky Jr and Alexa from Sterling and Britney  Kohler and  David from West Warwick RI,  and great grandchildren Jayla, Cali, Christopher, Parker, Camryn and Teigan and  niece and nephews Kim, Kevin Jason and Sean.  

 Services will be private.  Burial will be at the State Veterans Cemetery and a Celebration of life will be held, TBD at a later date.
