Duane Ronald York

Duane York of Griswold passed away on November 23, 2021. He was born 04/07/1940 in Wisconsin. He later moved to Connecticut through the Navy. After the Navy He settled in Griswold, got married to Lois Gardner. He had two children, Howard, and Ronald. He worked for Triangle PWC in Jewett City, Then United Nuclear in Uncasville. He was an Auxiliary Connecticut State Trooper. He served as Boy Scout and Cub Scout leader for many years. He worked on the Staff for the June Norcross Webster Scout Reservation in Ashford. He loved to build models and do ceramic crafts. He loved to decorate his yard for the Holidays. He is survived by his wife Lois, sons Howard, and Ronald, Grandchildren Christina, Nichole, Jessica, Tyler, and Joshua, and great grandchildren Matthew and Jayce, sister Clarice.
