It is with deep sadness and shock that we share the sudden passing of Donna Ann L’Homme Duprey On the morning of August 5, 2025 Donna was 58 years old. She was born on March 30, 1967.
Donna was pre-deceased by her father Robert E. L’Homme & mother Nancy I. (Daniels) & Her brother Robert (Bobby) E. L’Homme jr.
She is survived by her beloved & sweet daughter Kaitlin Marie Duprey & Kaitlin’s father, Michael Duprey,
She leaves behind her loving, devoted partner & life long companion Stephen Lunt; her devoted sister, Diane & husband Richard Neubig as well as her nephew Brian Robert L’Homme
Donna was her daughter Kaitlin’s biggest advocate & best friend. Donna always made Kaitlin feel loved and protected
Donna was a devoted mother and a devoted aunt and caregiver to her nephew.
She was known for her unwavering love and dedication in supporting her nephew Brian, who lives with a disability
Donna was selflessly dedicated to ensuring both her daughter and Brian‘s comfort and well-being at every turn.
While caring for her nephew, she ensured he had everything he needed, creating a loving and entertaining companionship, and conversation always turning a sad day into a happier one.
Her commitment was a testament to her compassionate nature and deep bond she shared with both her daughter and nephew.
She also leaves behind her niece Bethany Rose Telgarsky, whom she absolutely adored!
Her care & conversations will be deeply missed.
Donna was employed by the Norwich Inn & Spa for over 20 years. She was a faithful worker.
Donna was a funny, spirited and kind hearted woman whose presence lit up every room she entered. She will also be missed by her loyal dog, Ava, her two cats and 8 well loved chickens.
She will also be missed by countless friends, numerous cousin’s and extended family, whose life she touched in immeasurable ways.
Donna was known for her sharp wit, quick laugh and the best spaghetti you ever tasted. Donna had a gift for bringing people together. She was the glue that kept the family connected the first to pick up the phone and the last to let a holiday go by without making sure everyone felt included. She had friends from Connecticut to California. Her kindness was quiet but powerful her humor boundless and her love for animals whether feather or furry unmatched.
Donna’s sudden passing leaves a hole that cannot be filled, but her warmth, laughter and stories will live on in those who were lucky enough to know her.
A celebration of Donna‘s life will be held at a future date & location which will be announced on her Facebook page where friends and family will be invited to share her memories, laughter, and a plate of spaghetti in her honor, in lieu of flowers, all donations may be made to ASPCA or charity of choice in Donna’s memory.
