Daniel T. Fenton, 72, of Preston, CT. Passed away on Monday September 16th with his family at home. He was born on July 30, 1952 at Lawrence & Memorial Hospital and grew up living in Groton, CT. Dan was a Fitch Graduate and became part of the Army National Guard shortly after High School. He then moved on to what became his true passion, computer technology, starting in service and advancing to the Vice President of Sales for Barrister Information Technologies of Buffalo New York.
Even at home Dan spent his off time enjoying the wonder of Science & Technology through the internet. When he wasn't focused on technology he was focused on his loving wife Deborah, taking drives & spending time together on those special Friday's after tax season.
Some of Dan’s proudest moments were spent with his daughter Danielle, son in law Keith, and Grandchildren, Bradley, Justin and Allison.
Dan was a man of few words with a heart of gold and a perfectly timed sense of humor. He was always there whenever you needed him. He loved his yard and the home he created for his family. He had more miles on his tractor than his car. After his work was done Dan enjoyed a cold beer with a pinch of salt, just like his mother Felicia.
Dan is survived by his wife Deborah Fenton, daughter Danielle Fenton-Aspinwall, son-in-law Keith S. Aspinwall, their children Allison Aspinwall, Justin Aspinwall and Bradley Fenton of Preston, CT.
Additionally, he is survived by his brothers Paul Fenton of Elizabeth Town, NY, his wife Dawn Fenton, Thomas Fenton, of Longs, SC, his wife Charlotte Fenton and his brother Mark Fenton of Beaverton, Oregon, along with several nieces and nephews.
