Charles Herbert Finley Jr., aged 68, passed away on November 12, 2024, in Norwich, CT. Born on August 29, 1956, Charles was known for his boisterous and fun-loving personality, his booming laugh and his knack for storytelling. Charles served in the Navy, and his military service remained a significant part of his identity throughout his life. He is survived by his loving family: his mother, Sandra (Apel) Finley; his brothers Mark, Kirk, and Erik Finley; his children, Paul Finley, Michelle (Finley) Sarette, Joshua Finley, and Taiya Finley, as well as several grandchildren. Charles was preceded in death by his father Charles Finley. Charles will be remembered for his vibrant spirit, stubborn nature, inappropriate comments, and for always trying his best to make everyone happy. His legacy will continue to live on through his family and all who knew him.
