Carlton Wayne Stone (AKA Stoney), 65, of Griswold passed away Monday, May 5, 2025.
He was born September 14, 1959 in Saco, Maine to William Stone of South Carolina and Patricia Erickson of Massachusetts.
Carlton worked hard his entire life, even till the very end. He did odd jobs, roofing, cutting trees and picking up bulk waste. When he wasn’t working, he loved to fish.
His highlight of the day was early mornings at Charlene’s Diner and his walk about through Walmart.
He will be remembered for his recycling and junk collecting (Pot of Gold), but mostly for his helping hand to all that knew him.
Carlton will be missed by his family and friends and will always be in our hearts.
Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
