Barbara Jean (Polomski) Vantine

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Barbara (Bonnie) Vantine on November 11, 2025 with her loving husband of 62 years James by her side.

Bonnie and James Vantine were married on February 9, 1963 and had 4 children.

Bonnie was predeceased by her eldest son James Vantine, Jr. and survived by daughter Kathleen Scott and her husband Russell, sons Gregory Vantine and Jeffrey Vantine and his wife Stefanie. She was also a loving grandmother of 8 and great grandmother of 4.

Bonnie was an avid reader and loved to garden and cook.  She was always worried about taking care of everyone else and was devoted to her family.  She will be deeply missed by all.

The family would like to offer their heartfelt appreciation to the staff at Colonial Health and Rehab in Plainfield for the wonderful care they gave to Barbara.

There will be a graveside service in the spring of 2026 as was her request.
