Preston - Assunta “Sue” Richard, 85 , passed away peacefully on Saturday, July16, 2022 at her home in Preston. Her beloved husband of 66 years, Roger was
by her side.
Sue was born in 1937, the youngest daughter of Michael and Corradina Caputo. She was preceded in death by her older sister Mary Scibilia (Caputo) and her parents.
Sue graduated from Stonington High School in 1955. Shortly thereafter she married the love of her life Roger Richard and began a loving family.
Sue was employed as an Administrative Secretary for years with United Community Services and was an active Parishioner at St Catherine Church in Preston.
Family was everything to Sue. She was preceded in death by her first born, Roger Richard and leaves behind son, Scott and daughter Lori (Kevin). She is survived by her grandchildren, Christopher (Ashley), Sonya, Alyssa, Taylor and Austin who meant the world to her.
The sweetest soul was taken from those who loved her and were touched by her friendship. She is now one with the angels she loved so much.
