Annette Marie (LeBlanc) Armstrong

On July 23, 2023,Annette Marie (LeBlanc) Armstrong of Griswold, CT passed away surrounded by family.  She was born in 1933 in Memramcook, New Brunswick CA to George LeBlanc and Leonie (Landry) LeBLanc.  She was the twelfth child of thirteen.

She is survived by her husband Albert, her daughter Ginger Palmer and her husband John of Canterbury, CT, her son Albert and his wife Ethel of Richmond, RI, her grandson Kyle and his wife Rose of Brooklyn, NY, her grandson Dylan and his girlfriend Katie Drzal of Wilmington, NC, her sister Therese Dunn of Uncasville, CT, her sister Geraldine Catillo of Norwich, CT and numerous nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by her son Dennis.

She was a talented seamstress who worked for Helikon and then Foxwoods before retirement.  She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and aunt.  She will be truly missed by all those who had the honor to know her.

Callings hours are to be held on Thursday, July 27, 2023 from 5:00-7:00PM at the Gagne Piechowski Funeral Home 490 Voluntown Road Jewett City, CT 06351.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00AM on Friday, July 28, 2023 at St. Mary’s Church, Jewett City, CT.  Burial will immediately follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, Norwich, CT.  Everyone is invited for a gathering to celebrate Annette’s life at the French Club, Jewett City, CT.
