Albert H. Armstrong, Sr.

Albert passed away on June 09, 2026 at the age of 96.  He is predeceased by his wife Annette (LeBlanc) of 68 years, his son Dennis, his parents George Armstrong, Sr. and Anna (Walenda) and his 8 brothers and sisters.  He is survived by his son Albert, Jr. and Ethel Armstrong of Bolivia, NC; his daughter Ginger and John Palmer of Canterbury, CT; his grandchildren Vanessa Armstrong and spouse Rose Durand of Brooklyn, NY and Dylan and Katie Armstrong of Winnabow, NC.

He was a proud Korean War Marine veteran and glazier by trade.  His passions included woodworking, statuesque painting, and upholstery.  He was a man of deep faith who truly loved his family and friends.  He will be truly missed.

Visitation is at Gagne Piechowski Funeral Home in Griswold, CT on Monday June 15, 2026 from 5:00-7:00PM

Mass of Christian burial will be held at St. Mary’s in Jewett City, CT on Tuesday, June 16, 2026 at 10:00AM followed by interment at St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Norwich, CT.
