Obituary
Aila Lachapelle, 80, passed away March 9, 2023 peacefully in her sleep at Vanderman Place, Windham Ct. She was born May 26,1942 to the late Penti and Saimi (Tanskala) Mallinen in Pattijoki, Finland. Aila is survived by her children, Kathy Stickman, Donna Lachapelle and Wayne Lachapelle(predeceased), her brother Seppo Maillinen and her half-sisters Anneli (Mallinen) Lisse and Emily (Mallinen) Allard, her grandchildren Justin Stickman, Brittany Stickman, Kayla Macphail, Lily Lachapelle, Eli Lachapelle and Levi Lachapelle.
Aila was kind, caring, quiet and soft spoken. She enjoyed gardening and being outdoors. Her favorite thing to do was go shopping. She will be missed by all that knew her.
