Agnes Vowels Obituary
Jewett City – Agnes M. Vowels, 90, of Pleasant View passed away Friday evening at the Douglas Manor.
She was born November 28, 1925 in Brooklyn, NY daughter to the late Jacob and Minnie (Salony) Tohff. She was married to John C. Vowels, Sr. He predeceased her on July 14, 2002.
Agnes worked at John Meyers in Norwich, the Norwich State Hospital and in real estate sales. She was a parishioner of Preston City Congregational Church.
She is survived by her son Gregory Vowels, Sr. and his wife Julie, her two daughters Frances Klick and Laurie Danieluk and her husband Joseph, three grandchildren Nathan Danieluk, Gregory Vowels, Jr., Jeffrey Vowels and two great grandchildren Odin and Jada Lynn.
She was predeceased by her son John C. Vowels, Jr. and her son-in-law Frank Klick.
In Lieu of flowers donations can be made in Agnes’s memory to the charity of the donor’s choice.
