Very sorry to hear of Ina’s passing.  I enjoyed working with her at VES and always admired her enthusiasm for life.

Sorry to hear of her passing. Mrs. Macko taught me a lot, not just about math. She was ahead of her time when it came to computers, teaching computer class before any of us students realized the impact they'd have on the world. She also taught me the value of frugality and not to be wasteful. RIP, Mrs. Macko.

Sorry for your loss to all the members of Ina’s family.
We had a lot of laughs together at VES with Ina. She knew her Math and helped us get started leaning on the computers.
Ina loved her hard boiled eggs for lunch. She love her family. God Bless all of you! With love Stacie

I'm so sorry to hear of her passing. She was my math teacher for three years at VES. She was a tough teacher but I learned a lot. I will always remember her pig bucket in the back of her room where we were to put our lunch scraps in! May she rest in peace.

The family chose a very nice picture that shows her lovely smile.  I too remember that pig bucket.  I placed many peanut butter an jelly sandwiches in it.  I think of her when I pick my red raspberries, as I got them from her.

I have several fond memorials of Ina from Voluntown Elementary School.  She was a character!!  Always making us laugh and always in a "Teachable Moment" both in her classroom and the teacher's room!
My thoughts are with her family.

My condolences, Barbara and Paul & familly. No matter the age, losing a mom is a momentous thing. And I never realized you had roots in PVD RI—no wonder you turned out so well.
